I started this project back in December, asking all of our 11 offices around the company to shoot and send me footage of their teams hula hooping around landmarks in their respective locations. The original post of my sales pitch to get participation can be found HERE. Although the technical aspects of pulling together so many different formats of footage was daunting, it gives me a massive wave of love every time I watch it. It was so so so worth the time it took.
We’re a young entrepreneurial company, and we’re measured against some pretty aggressive goals. But, but, but… We have a lot of fun day in and day out. Everyone in this video is so vital, alive, and well, beautiful. There’s nothing like seeing the faces of the children people once were, when they are straight up having a good time.
I ran a 5K last night here in Chicago with 10 of my coworkers, benefiting the Greater Chicago Foodbank. My goal was to complete the 3.5 miles in 28 minutes or less (8 min mile pace). My results can be viewed HERE, 26 min, 24 seconds. I think I’m already ready for new shoes.
This has been an incredible week, and I can’t wait to get back home for some Summertime fun with my girls. Much love to you all.
